British crossword puzzles are what are called cryptics. They these absurd word play and they're american versions of them. i always find them am just past my, often just past my sweet spot. In other words, they're more frustrating than exhilarating when get to the bunch line. And i've always thought, you kno, i'd just put a litle more time into it, i bet i could get good at em, and then i'd really love them. But i've never been able to get to that level. So i'm curious where you are in cryptics. And i want any speculation you might have why it's a british thing
