The Effects of the New Rules on Pitching

The pace of baseball has slowed in an appreciable way this season. Despite the uptick in stolen bases, that hasn't actually increased run scoring all that much. And neither has the pitch clock as far as we can tell and pitch clock violations. So I guess you could say it's a failure that that hasn't seemed to do much more. That my prediction that MLB will force the pie slice rule upon us next season.
