The Red Mansion was a playground for officials in Xiaomun. It had gambling, massage parlors, saunas and karaoke rooms. A woman who worked there says the majority of clients were from the customs bureau. China's premier dispatched investigators to Xiaomun but one of Lie's contacts tipped him off.
