I think one of the things that really pulls me to Yakuza as a franchise also or like a dragon now is this idea of Kamurocho being a place that you return to over and over again. As the games progress Kamurocho just becomes a denser and more lived in place. I think where Shenmue is so much about living in that space learning your way around those streetslearning who works at what stall who is where at what time of day on what dayThings like that that's all stuff that the Yakuza games have accomplished in time.
