"I wanted to be in the army. I don't know why," he says. "Because the Marines just get the stuff that the army's done." He was never an infantry guy and started out as a tactical communications guy at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The only regret he has is if he was going to go back today, he would not sign up to be a 31-victor tactical communications man.
