Do You Have a Passion for Small Businesses?

My dad was a school business owner, he owned advertising agencies throughout the years of all the small businesses. He always used to say that your biggest asset works out the door every night. And so I grew up being aware of the conversations around the dining room table. The other thing is when I was in a banking role, and I had a number of roles looking after internet banking, innovation, context centers - quite a few things. But one of the opportunities I had was to do a specific study on small businesses because the bank I was at at the time, we felt like, gosh, how can we do more to see this them?
