Pre-Hospital Transfusions - A Review

The primary outcome occurred in 64 % of the intervention group and 65 % of the control group. The authors concluded that the repel trial, just for andy the refill tranks, did not demonstrate that packred blood cells and leoplas improved episode mortality or lacti clearance when compared with normal saline. Based on current evidence, the decision to commit to routine pre hospital transfusion in civilian practice will require careful consideration by all stake holders. But it is an impressive trial. It requires some serious work to get this sort of trial set up across like pre hospital patients, really difficult. So codos to them for that. And then cove it of us.
