The Importance of Remote Work in-Person Work
The company went a lot remote, but its hardware team and our operations team never went remote because you're working on a physical car. The thing that saved us is at the time we were doing a ton of driving because we were still developing a lot of foundational technology. Having people co-located is a huge accelerator for that. It wasn't until we really brought people back and, say, 2021 that we started accelerating again.
