OSTP Citing Mora Et Al in a Journal Commentary
Mora et al. is probably the worst paper ever written on the topic of Bitcoin's emissions impact. Mora didn't actually contribute to the paper, just lent his name so that it would get published. It supposes a model of Bitcoin that bears no relation to Bitcoin at all and gets an obviously erroneous result. The report stresses in many places the uncertainties involved in these estimates.
