Stable LM is a software system that can freely and openly be modified by a user without restrictions or limitations of any kind. Chat GBT would not commit in any way to an actual answer, or an opinion. Stable LMs says here that the benefits are probably much greater than the risks, and that open source AI is a good thing overall. But I don't think you can really say better or worse because it's just so different from chat GPT.
