If you were to clone yourself, then this new person that you created would be genetically identical to you. There are germ warfare possibilities which are horrific. cloning the 1918, whatever it is, 1919, flu virus would be a horrible thing to do. But isn't that virus still extant? Why would it disappear? Aren't we all descendants of people who could handle that? By handle it. Yes, I can live through it.
