Sally Kohn's new book is a memoir about growing up in the conservative patriarchal white savior mentality. She was raised by a pimp as she worked with young girls who had been trafficked from Nepal to India and then, you know, widows. "I'm still working out those elements in myself," says Kohn of her struggle against what she calls 'white supremacy' The author also talks about how evangelicals are wrong when they say that the Bible is crystal clear or absolutely true.
