Sirtuins are an epigenetic regulator of histon diaceteles. They're involved in lots and lots of different cellular processes that intersect with aging. The field has obviously continued to expand and grow, and's kind of where i view the cirtuin aging field right now,. There are seven sirtuins in in mice and in people. Resvertra got a bunch of attention ten, 15 years ago as an activator of sirtuans.
