The Importance of Having a Support Network

When you're young, I was just on like this snowball that was, it was exciting. And then when you're 33, you're like, why don't I enjoy playing? Why don'tI enjoy being in pain every day? So you just get on with it. Like my reason, my motivation was my wife, my daughter, it became financial. It became almost like a legacy type thing. My parents were always really level headed and probably my wife towards the end of it because when you transition into retirement, that is where that support network becomes. When you strip out the coaches, the rugby side of it. It's like, what have you got?
