What's Disruptive?

Washington picked up six point nine inches of snow on monday, which was not only a daily snowfall record, but the most since january. It was also more snow than fell in the last two winters combined. Disruptive it means it messes it up. A student can disrupt a class. If something is disruptive or disrupted, there are problems. Another word here is halt. Travel was brought to a halt.
