What Does This Mean Realistically for Palestinians?
It's hard to say in the sense of they could go in many different ways because we were not expecting any major peace process anyway. In one respect, Netanyahu is very interested in quiet and calm. And he may also try to do some moves that might help daily lives in the West Bank. But first, the members of his coalition are not only against big peace movements, they are against these kinds of things. The West Bank is already beginning to burn. This is a recipe for major unrest and the potential also for 30 tifada. Now that could happen under anyone's roach but I certainly cannot predict it.
