Is Everyone Worse Off Than Being Poor Now?

Being poor 50 years ago is probably worse than being poor now. The a poverty measure um that we have, you know, it is the official measure because they are a bunch of policies over the last 50 years. But it's a very flawed measure. It only includes government benefits, for instance, if they come in or of cash. So unemployment benefits count but food standing ups don't count. Housing benefits, health care benefits, don't show up his income in these measures.
