Barracuda ESG: A Cloud Environment
Barracuda ESG is deployed as what's known as an appliance, which is either like a physical box or you're going to express a machine. In cloud environments, we also have appliances that are sort of like black holes in a way. You don't really know what goes in and out of them. But the good side of it is that when they can take advantage of that, that they're basically in full control of what's going on on the machine. The vendor has said that they've notified everyone that they've discovered was impacted by this.
