The Importance of Niche in Success

There certainly seems to be plenty of people coming through and always new people having success. I don't know how many failures there are on the scrap heap for all these self-selecting successful people who I'm exposed to because they're successful. Even just with my own viewing habits, I feel like I've stumbled across smaller channels that seem to have gotten bigger, pretty fast. Not even channels that are of mainstream interest, but just it seems like people are able to pick up subscribers and do well in a way that I think might even be easier than it used to be.
