How to Harness the DSF Membership

I don't think this time the five year rule for the president is going to economy. I've already done three years first as a director, two years as a vice president and then this is my second year as president so it's a long time to commit to something. So it would actually work better if we knew what's sticking around after the election. Instead of doing the election every year and expecting a new board to come and take off. Yeah I think similar for the technical board in that you can't elect the technical board every eight months which is every point release. It's too much so I think every sort of major cycle from LTS to LTS is much more sustainable.
