How to Write a Book About a Female Death
I wanted for there to be some big story in the news that would be really throwing a ding bode my main character off balance. And so this this introduction is kind of prologue. I didn't, you know, call it a prologue because if you call anything a prologue readers will skip it. So we just don't call it anything. Then there's chapter one by that it's secretly as a prologue. In that stealth prologue, I wrote that later because I wanted sort of a tonal introduction to all of that.
