The History of the Abolition of Slavery

Arguments can be a very adaptive response to many different minds with many different perspectives. It's not clear that reasoning, even in groups, when people are free to argue as much as they want and all that, it's not clear to lead to more, more all outcomes. And so I think we still have to be hopeful about the pace of change.
