I wanted to somehow put myself in a situation in which I would experience what that's not like and how I feel about eventually moving back. And then the other reason why I wrote this book is because I've read a lot of The immigrant novel. In reading those books, I learned a lot about why I moved to the United States and why I'm experiencing things the way I'm experiencing them.
