How to Overcome Your First Ratings Plateaus

I feel when I was like grinding chess I kind of had this growth in like four phases where I think I hadn't learned the rules of chess. In high school I started watching I started watching the St. Louis chess club videos and I got my tour videos just with interest. Once I did my first lesson with him I was already at about like 800 900 yloh so that's a long intro there but I would say like once I did his first lessons with him he helped me get to 1500 before the pandemic. He also said you can still learn so much from someone like who's you know a Fideh Maasur or whoever it is.
