The Validity of SPF Claims for Powdered Sunscreens
The FDA is looking at removing powders from the monograph, or at least they've been talking about it for a while. With makeup, similar situation, most people don't apply enough of, let's say, a blush to get the labeled SPF. Lots of places are looking into getting rid of some of these, but yeah, it's just a slow process.
