Filmmaking in the Seventies

I had the advantage of, or maybe the disadvantage of making a film in 19 88, about ten years ago. And i definitely wanted to go into something that was more grounded. The philosophy we took wis at, ah, you know, if everything is like garish and eighties, nothing is. I think you can't really talk about this movie without your great direction of this caste of child actors.
