Movie Review - Is This a Movie About Purgatory?
i think the movie is kind of presenting this concept of like being in a place that by all regards should be this like kind of pleasant fairy tale but yet all you can think about is the horrible thing you've done or how terrible it is. i feel like no matter where you go you could go to the nicest idyllic spot in wherever and you'd still feel this way, which is purgatory. The movie offers different roads for tomas yet you have harry's character who's very principled about okay if you cross this line like it's game over.
