Raymond Carver's the Cathedral

Raymond Carver was considered one of the greatest short story writers in America's literary history. His stories are extremely heartbreaking, there's a prophetic quality to him and it captures perfectly my upbringing. He just gets into the very gritty realities of earth. This is one very profound story and I think it's a cathedral.
