The Limitations of Netflix's Data
Each user has a randomly generated ID, which resets over a certain period. And I know what URL they clicked on exactly the time and the day. That's pretty much it. So in and of itself, a click isn't doesn't mean anything. But when you add them together, you can infer meaning. You could say this person clicked on the Netflix link that is the watch page for a bit of content - 22 minutes long. And then they clicked on the next one, while that you can reasonably assume that they viewed it. The data starts from the beginning of 2016 and ends in the summer of 2019.
