Grazing and Confusion
When an animal grazes, their turning up the roots, their consuming the grass. This stimulates the re growth of these plants which sequesters carbon. And then the manure replaces some of the lost nutrients in the soil. But when we look at the metr analyses ones on these farming systems, they're still producing net amissions. So by having to offset the omissions the animals produce, we're limiting the capacity for our soils to sequester carbon.
