Cancer and Neurologic Complications

Cancer can affect the nervous system in three broad categories. One is there can be direct involvement of the nervous system, such as a brain tumor or metastases. The other two are complications related to treatment and perineoplastic syndromes. And so let's just remember that intracranial pressure can rise. We wouldn't think of presses necessarily space occupying though it can be when severe or a hemorrhage or stroke or something like that.
