Zang Yimu: A Melodrama
Gong Lee's character quickly becomes alienated by this system, but it's not an uncomplicated hero either. I really wish this film had like a mainland Chinese forced upon it. Happy ending where they're like, what would be the happy ending of this movie? And all the wives lived happily ever after. Yeah, destroying each other. There's also a maid who works there who desperately wants to be one of the wives and that adds further complications.
