When I was a superintendent of education in Ontario we used to have processes called leading from the middle. 10 school boards in Ontario jumped on this project which involved teachers, students and administrators sitting around one table looking at what's happening with emotional well-being. We now have a reading intervention program research based out of sick kids in Toronto in every single elementary school in Essex County District School Board down in Windsor EssexOntario. Fewer and fewer and fewer kids need additional resources once they've been in this program because it works for them.
