Dr. Scott Mathurly on Cirrhosis
Dr. Scott Mathurly is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) He's board certified as an internist also in gastroenterology and transplant hepatology. As a member of the faculty at VCU he has been recognized no fewer than five times as the VCU School of Medicine teacher of the year. In addition to his teaching responsibilities Dr.Mathurly is the co-director of the multidisciplinary hepatosellular cancer clinic in the Hume Lee transplant center. We're going to talk all about cirrhosis tonight.
