Trump's lawyers tried to seek an order from the court excusing Trump's absence because of quote logistical issues. The judge wasn't having any of it and said Trump's decision to testify or attend is Trump's alone. So if Trump has no legal obligation to be there, why do you think his lawyers tried to sought disorder in the first place? It's a very interesting question, but there's nothing unique about legal approaches from Donald Trump's legal team.
