Karen Tierney: What futurist prediction did you come up with in your research that surprised you and or changed your mind about a technology?Tierney: I came away thinking we're never going to have one on earth. Maybe on Mars, I think is probably the best bet for one. The vulnerability to terrorism is so profound that, you know, it's a huge investment that's extremely vulnerable. Just send up rockets.
