The Consequences of Libertarian Property Rights
There's a misunderstanding that one of the sources of property rights is creation. But this is a mistake, and we have to keep that distinction in mind. The primary source of property rights in external scarce resources is either you're the first one to start using it or you get it by contract from some one else. So creation is neither necessary nor sufficient for ownership. It would be silly to say that you own your actions as well as your body. You don't own something that emanates from our boy that we ourselves created.
