Narvai's and Cabeza De Vaca

King Charles granted Narvai's a charter to claim the area that is now the Gulf Coast of the United States for Spain. The Spanish Crown would appoint Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca as the Treasurer and Second in Command.Narvai's used his own riches to see the expedition, but he would recruit many other willing investors. They were lured by promises of riches like those acquired from the Aztecs.
