The Relationship Between Political and Religious Correlations
Political and religious similarities were the highest correlations between married couples 25 years ago. Even right wing people care a lot less about religion, so that is of course different from the people that you date will have any particular view. If you're looking for long term relationships that it may be that there's enough of an ideological opposition to marriage among the left that you just don't see it so much. Although actually there I agree with the Charles Murray view that the two parent family isn't the optimal.
