Multiple Sclerosis - What Are the Common Symptoms?

Numbness in the extremities is a common presenting symptom. Patients may get blurred vision in their eye or pain with moving the eyes that may lead to them really having very blurred vision not being able to see out of the eye. Another symptom would be developing double vision. These symptoms tend to come on over many days to a few weeks so they're not super sudden in onset but kind of come on over days, worse than plateau and then often will improve over time. One other one would be imbalance. So for example, patients may note that they have trouble with walking. They might need to grab onto someone as they're moving.
