I'm not going to suggest you German volume training with all your team support athletes. It's a unique concept to them, but it's still utilising the same exercise or exercise selection that you've been using across the board. Bands and chains are fantastic for inexperienced athletes. But also, I do see the premise of sometimes we use them for younger athletes that probably aren't ready for varying degree of resistance.
