The Advantages and Disadvantages of Stealth Mode

Kubernetes was in stealth mode for a long time. It's not uncommon for startups to be in that mode, but it's less common these days. What did you like and dislike about this stealth mode? And what did it benefit you and what did it take away? In hindsight, I think we probably would have over rotated to the wrong solution too early because there was so little knowledge. If they've gotten it to market sooner, they could have known they were wrong and pivoted.
