The Crucifixion of Vocation

Aslan: Our culture is always going to reject Jesus as the center. And that's why we need that we need the frustration of the cross. We can be freed from using creation in and of itself, like enjoying it as a God. When we enjoy God in the created goods our relationship to the transcendentals is restored. That's when God's like glory, you know, and so I think the future new creation will be a space in which the transcendental are perfectly aligned with the way that we worship and live.
