Aegean society was significantly smaller in iron age than bronze age. It's very difficult to extract reliable demographic figures from prehistory because they didn't keep like sensess records, obviously. From what i could see in these various proxies, it's not unreasonable to reconstruct a sort of forty to 60 % of decrease in population between the middle of the thirteenth century b c and eleventh century b c.
