Kenneth Branagh on Wallander

I was really well prepared, brilliant cinematographer Luca Strabble. We had been to all the locations. There's an idea for how these scenes might sort of play out with staging. I showed him the whole film pretty much through kind of imagery of the sort of scenes. He just trusted me and we went in and he knew that I was always looking for the truth in the scene. That was amazing for him because he sort of gave me permission. If I hadn't gone well, I'm sure maybe he might have gone really bad. But I think I wasreally well prepared,.
