i agree that we need to figure out our entitlement crisis in some point. That's what's driving us bankrupt, it's not military spending. The reason defence spinning looks like a sign wave is because we repeatedly go through these periods where we tell ourselves that we can disarm and bring the boys back home. And then that creates chaos, and we find ourselves being drawn back into spending much more on less favorable terms. This gets to a deeper problem, which is the inability to to see the broader world and remove that from our internal politics here at home. These things have nothing to do with each other.
