The Problem of Evil

The biggest single philosophical objection to the existence of god, every body is the problem of evil. How can the god of christianity exist in a messy world like this? We are going to look at what the bible says about god and evil merely to determine the degree of compatibility or incompatibility. And we will see that the picture of god in scripture is indeed compatible with the existence of evil. But it'll be several lectures before we show that the bible is indeed the inherent word of god.
