You'd Better Eliminate God Than Live Up Toh Goodness
Prayer for the week: Would you rather eliminate god than try to live up to goodness? David Walliams asks if it's easier to bring beliefs down into line with behaviour. God forces himself to walk a very fine line, and that line is faith. He gives us just enough evidence to confirm our faith, but not so much as to obviate it. Will we still be faithful in the meantime while we wait for god to fest himself once again? Or will we take the foolish way out and act as if there were no god to begin with?
