The Body and Blood of Jesus Christ

In most communion liturgies, this passage is quoted ussually during the communion liturgy. It's telling us what it is we're actually partaking in, wer partaking the blood and body of christ. And so he says, verse 18, consider the people of israel are not those who eat the sacrifices, participants in the altar. I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot partake of the table of the lord and the table ofhe demons. Shall we provoke the lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?
