Introduction
Pakistan is an idea, an idea that we lost somewhere along the way. Most Pakistanis do not even know what the foundational document that articulated the demand for this country is called. The Lahore resolution was passed on 24th March 1940 at the annual session of the All India Muslim League. And the date was changed to 23rd March for reasons best known to them. We keep repeating that Pakistan has an identity crisis but we don't talk about how that identity crisis was created.
